I use the original AdBlock for Chrome (not ABP). One of its features that I find indispensable is the ability to sync custom filters, filter lists and settings via Dropbox as I use Chrome on at least 3 different machines. I'd be willin

Also, not in terms of speed; ad blockers tend to slow down web page rendering especially on pages where there are a lot of ads.

Just upgraded to 1.8.2.3 - still can't stage multiple files at once like I used to be able to in 1.7.x; i.e. select multiple files and hit space. Also, there's no backup context menu option for this?

Command line prowess is not the be all and end all of competency. Some people like to have less of an overhead in brain cycles when doing menial/repetitive tasks (like dealing with source control) so that they can actually get on with

Also, the login window on Windows is a web browser view which uses Internet Explorer and keeps throwing up modal script error windows. Edit: Admittedly, I have IE8 installed on my work laptop. Not sure if IE11 has the same behaviour.

For the half day that I used the new version before realising it was too broken I noticed that the UX hasn't really changed; the UI has though, i.e. most of the changes are purely cosmetic.

I updated to 1.8.* (Windows) last week when the app notified me of the new version and found it hugely unstable. I've since downgraded back to 1.7.0 and will be continuing to use that until I have a real need to upgrade. It's a hu

I'm reluctant to breathe a sigh of relief yet. I've been visiting the Steam Store a lot less since they opened the floodgates to any and every game under the sun as I believe discoverability is now horribly broken and the queue an

Looks like NancyFx. After having worked a little with Java/Spring recently and coming from a C#/.NET background it's nice to see the Java world is finally starting to discover the benefits of Keeping It Simple...

Indeed they've stopped working on Mantle in favour of Vulkan and DX12. However, Mantle seemed to be the trigger or at least a driving force for getting the other vendors to modernise their APIs.
