It would also be nice if we could see the chat stream without having to login (read-only of course).

If the ACL of a keychain item contains an app that isn't supposed to have access to that keychain item then that would indicate a compromise.

Can you give more detail? Which companies and/or where are they based?

There's nothing stopping you from porting the code to a Xamarin Studio add-in.

Who should they "reflect" the attack back at? Baidu, who seem to be a victim of HTTP hijacking in this case? Or the Chinese government? If the latter, then where exactly do you focus the counter-attack?

I wonder if Twitter's hand can be forced to deal with bots by users running an automated bot identifier + spam reporter. Maybe a botnet of bot reporters... :)

As someone who's just moved out of London I'd rather like to see a "UK-centric" news site.

Sure, that's a best-case scenario. How about no WiFi in the vicinity and a couple of accidental knocks on the phone?

How do you do that before the thief is able to get into your Mac and steal all your data when you've just lost all your devices?

Just because it's a stated policy doesn't make it a justified policy or even a good policy. To reiterate what's already been said in other comments here... iPhone 4S, iOS7, etc. etc.
