That's fine and dandy that author was able to go through those hoops to find success. But there are still those of us who still (maybe naively at this point in history) believe that if you do things honestly, in good faith, and play by

Just have a kid if you want them. You'll never "be able to afford it." It will never make "economic sense" to have a child. Luckily, most of us do not place a monetary value on human life.

You can still suffer from the same, every day normal forgetting of things on ADHD medication. It doesn't instantly make you superhuman. You still need systems to remember things effectively, ADHD or not.

I somehow knew this would be the first comment. Unfortunately, for these industries, where you sell real goods at affordable prices (not over-inflated fantasyland prices to your "enterprise" customers) margins are razor thin. This

I don't want to disagree with most of what you are saying, but this is where I can always tell the majority of HN hasn't started a non-tech, low skill business before (restaurants, sales, salons, construction, etc). Your workers c

You are really overstating how many people like that are out there. Compare the sheer number of hotel bookings to AirBnB bookings, even factoring out business travel. I just think that those still enamoured by it haven’t been burned yet. Th

I've worked extensively in both. In my opinion: Vue embraces web technologies. JS is to enhance your HTML. React is a javascript-first, FP-first mentality. Minor point: vue benchmarks slightly faster these days. The react runtime has g

It's not an argument, it's a statement designed to point out the sheer hubris of thinking we actually matter, which is the root of all of the world's problems: human pride. If you hate it that much, it was probably meant for

I understand the US Legal system very well. I think enough people have broken down your fuzziness point as moot at this point, but you downvote and cling to it. I know it's tough being wrong on the internet, but just the L on this one.

But what you are saying here counters what OP is replying to. "Fuzziness" has no place in a system of law. There should be a way to trace back, as you said with case law, to find an unambiguous decision. If not, the law needs to b
