Reduction in Complement 3C seems to be correlated with protection from Alzheimer's in mice[0]. Good news for Lupus patients (who typically have low 3C3). "Blocking complement function by deleting C3 rescues plaque-associated synap

My guess is that it's all downhill after the device has been unpackaged - the device fails to meet inflated expectations; it becomes outdated in short order; or if it works like it's supposed to, it becomes transparent. The openin

Isn't a question of energy density? I mean how much cargo you can move per ton (or kg) of fuel. Container ships are enormously efficient by this measurement compared to most alternatives I can think of. How many containers could an air

I think there's two ways people interpret that - when neocons and progressives (or whatever, the slimiest of both parties) end up arm in arm denouncing a guy, you can either say that guy must be really bad, or really good . ;)

I think this argument is similar to advocacy for metric vs imperial - yeah, it probably makes sense, but the current system is workable enough that the pain of living with it is less than the pain of transitioning from it. IOW, nobody reall

Software development is playing with legos for a living, except with a billion pieces and the ability to make your own pieces, with infinite floor space. It’s “thing-oriented” and only grey if you start mingling in the secondary designers,

I think the software keyboard is a per app design, which is either a ding or a bonus (dev flexibility). Regardless, if you have to spend time typing/searching, using remote on phone is best, where you can use the phone’s keyboard.

I think bicyclists are nuts trying to mingle in with relatively high-speed heavy metal boxes (vehicles). I think pedestrians are nuts to try and mingle with high-speed heavy metal frames (electric personal transport).
