He's not saying it's taboo to name drop. He's saying don't be so naive to play in the hands of a system designed to deflect from taking real action to fix the erosion of civil liberties.

I do not intend to downplay the anxiety and the emotional pain of the experience either you or the the OP had. I empathise completely. I myself have gone and continue to go through such "crises" regularly. I feel just as much. My point w

Isn't the joke on the guy posting the (impossible) job? I see some have commented on the economic desperation or the salesman attitude of the coders bidding for this impossible job, but when someone asks a large population of salesmen that

I agree with tptacek (and others recommending CBT and ACT), examine the language you are using. The words you use may not spell "depression" but they are certainly in the vicinity that may lead you to it (I'm talking clinical depression).

Agreed totally. The runway is nothing other than a brutally honest cash flow projection into the next 6 months (minimum). Cash flow projection: first useful skill for any entrepreneur.

I disagree. The reason why we are often too eager to dismiss is because kindness takes effort. Empathy, and certainly sympathy, is hard work. We get lazy, we become exhausted and our reactions become snappy. Almost always the "dry your eyes
