Reclix, please send me an e-mail: aikon3390 at gmail. Your long term vision is nearly identical to my current one and I would love to hear how you are preparing for that vision.

True. It seems that the standard benchmark is where we stand on some arbitrary test in comparison to other countries. The purpose of education is to move the characters "United States" from a low position on a piece of paper to a location

I completely agree with you. Today I found myself using a search in another tool and sat there for a moment after I typed, waiting for the results to come in. Once I realized the results weren't going to come until I press enter, I found

This kind of logic doesn't make sense. I'd love to find a word for it. No one has simultaneously done good and bad like that. If a person does bad, then change their views or themselves, and proceeds to do good wholeheartedly, then good,

In some cases I agree that eliminating all tests is bad, especially if nothing else changes. It's especially bad when tests are eliminated without teachers changing their style. If you're going to change one you have to change the other.

Perhaps he should have used more objective references. I believe the author does not find much worth in porn. Your subjective opinion is clearly different. How is having "issues" related with his viewpoint?

All depends on your definition of high intelligence. I know some very intelligent (rapid cognition, knowledgeable, very capable of thought...) people, who completely lack any form of self-control and are essentially bums.

I agree, creativity and freedom to do what you feel/want are very connected. However, if the project is large enough, self-control and discipline is required to turn that project into something great, especially for entrepreneurs who wear

I can relate with the article in that I've noticed in myself that if I ever go a week where I watch more movies/TV than usual, I VERY quickly notice myself feeling like it's OK to watch that amount, or more, in the future. Actions of that

In addition, the article ends with one of the author's children asking [while in a class that has no tests]: “How do I know if I get what’s going on in math class?” I find this kind of thinking dangerous in that this question is essentially

I completely agree. This article is full of oddities like that, drawing correlations in places where it does not necessitate causation. "These are not the big once-a-year or once-in-a-lifetime exams, like the SATs, but a stream of smaller,

Ideas taught in these subjects would have to be nearly purely conceptual. You get the idea, you make sense of it, and it's in you for life. Because of this I think it only makes sense that a majority of such classes should be spent outsid

There shouldn't be a need for the page to postback when adding/deleting/completing items. A necessity for a site like this is for it to be faster and more convenient than anything else. My notepad++ session is more practical than this in

My take is that the sunsets would be a replacement for the less-fruitful things one does in life - watch mindless TV, spend a lot of time on hygiene, [enter time-wasting task], etc. I don't think it's a replacement for actually accomplishi
