Definitely. Good point. I agree, the fact that she says she's scared (and if she means it) is proof that she will "cure" herself someday. Good luck to her.

The fact that a majority of students enter college having absolutely no idea why they are there beyond the fact that that's what they're supposed to do, is a fairly clear sign that things are very broken. The other day a father got tears i

I agree, she didn't offer any alternatives. There are some very basic concepts that regular schools completely skip that would make all the difference. In my opinion we need classes (for example): - dedicated to learning how one specifical

Interesting. We share a passion. I exited a university with a computer science degree and finally then realized how many years I had wasted. In that moment I began to understand the many ways my mind had been brainwashed and muted. Publ

Explain? She learned how to work the system, not follow any passion of hers. Sure that's definitely a skill and a valuable one, though how much better would it be if it was better focused at something worth something a bit more?

I enjoyed The Woman in the Dunes as well. Very well written, though it left me feeling a bit disturbed. Another great novel (also Japanese) is Kokoro by Natsume Soseki. It's not sci-fi and the plot isn't especially thick, however just lik

I think he's painting a bit too open and free picture of Hinduism here. Also, the consistent superlatives used in describing the "glorious" open-source Hinduism and the "closed-source" Western/Middle-Eastern religions is a bit drab. He see

Exactly my thoughts. I recently got married as well and I can definitely affirm that a good part of the wedding industry works off of word-of-mouth. This product could be huge. I definitely would have used it if it was available and well

I wonder which category the huge amount of Apple fans that have every Apple product fall into? I know a good number that I wouldn't consider geeks, elites, or critics (though they may consider themselves elite). (I don't mean for this comme

I agree, though I believe they're working on it. The technology is very impressive if you look into it. Concerning it not being completely decentralized - I consider it a plus since that fact ensures greater reliability.

Both the IPhone and Android are far from perfect devices. If MS can pull off an OS as responsive as IOS, be intuitive and simple, I could see many preferring it or at least considering it over other devices, despite less functionality. I'

I agree that there is no unbiased news. Ideally you would be equally critical towards all sources. Be aware of every word you read on the page, and understand that anything could be fabricated. As soon as you become "loyal", you're much m

Being "clever or kind" isn't mutually exclusive, but being "clever at the expense of others, or kind" is. It's a good point in my opinion. It's easy to forget the human element.

I'm still not understanding. Christianity isn't a works-based religion, and so the passage referring to "profit" on an eternal scale wouldn't make sense. By "profit me nothing", I understand it as meaning: personally I am not in any way
