Totally agree with the landscape (SF) and the bookstores (Cambridge). I love hobyy/game stores as well (we have one in Waltham as well as many in Cambridge). I hope they do this as on the east coast some time. I'm a long time ADOM

I'm embarrassed to say that at the present moment we currently don't use ES clustering but rather a monstrous powerful bare metal machine as we had issues with the cluster failing with some network issues we had with Rackspace. BT

I'm on the east coast as well (Boston). Although I dislike San Francisco for taking away talent and attention from Boston I wouldn't consider them weird compared to local Cambridgites. You want oddity come to Cambridge MA. To be

I would say OCaml particularly with a potential killer app of MirageOs. Stat usage wise it makes Haskell look mainstream... but serious real world code is written in OCaml (I would argue maybe even more serious than Haskell :P ). The users

Yep... I was the first agent@cc.gatech.edu circa 99-04 (I wonder who owns it now). Advance apologies if you knew me then... I was an inconsiderate a$$hole at the time. I'm still an a$$hole but less inconsiderate.

I don't understand why people need such ridiculously fast systems when we are using RabbitMQ and crappy Apache flume and we generate more than 5k with spikes of 50k messages/second. Please author of the article tell me your metric

I have always felt Twitter could do a better job doing recommendations. Sort of help me find things I like better. Not just content. I have really started to like Four Square automatically giving me tips when I walk into places. It seems li

Ahh.. figured it was hollywood bull$hit. It seems like every movie still has dudes lifting weights in a court yard. I have no doubt about doing one arm pullups making you strong. I just recently accomplished this myself but I had to loose a

I'm not even sure a flow chart is worthwhile. Other than looking cool and sort of funny you might as well just have a bullet point list of requirements. It certainly would be quicker to read a list than go through the chart.

I hear you. I use to make Bustelo when I would occasionally smoke cigars on a nice summer day... even then I would add cream.

Cuban espresso is often made with robusto beans which are very strong. So your theory might be true. Many cuban restaurants I have been to in Miami use Café Bustelo which to be honest probably wouldn't be so crappy if the roast-to-serv
