This is fantastic - would be really exciting to see this level of resolution making its way to global operational weather forecasts (currently at ~10km).

Co-working space was the way to go for me. Some co-working spaces are run by very friendly and out-going community managers that really work hard to bring people together and I think this works well especially for shy/introverted peopl

For some perspective on recent droughts and floods: https://twitter.com/oikoweather/status/1338691244470403075 Since 1950, the warming climate has evaporated about twice the volume of Lake Erie - that's a lot

I've been thinking that a digital stamp could help a lot with email spams. Price it low enough so that it's not a big deal (maybe $0.01 per address on the receiver side?) but enough to enforce cost for spam + marketing emails. Ema

It's not very different from Home Depot or Costco having sections for HVAC installation. Mini-splits are very common in Asia and is in fact easier to install (e.g. no ducting). However in the US, mini-splits being new have sort of take

I've been told that Australia also doesn't have domestic solar panel industry, which meant that solar panels made in China can be imported without tariff. Installation cost for HVAC systems in US/Canada is also silly. In Asia
