I've been thinking that a digital stamp could help a lot with email spams. Price it low enough so that it's not a big deal (maybe $0.01 per address on the receiver side?) but enough to enforce cost for spam + marketing emails. Email is an example where the cost of spam is mostly borne by the receiver in terms of time and effort.
- Avamander 4y agoWhat you're describing does exist in a way. Depending on the TLD, domains do cost money. The cheaper the domain, the more positive signals it requires to exit spam folder.
