All cars will still have to be driven, at least partially, by human beings for the foreseeable future. There is no chance you can make a car with no steering wheel nor pedals.

The reason why hydrogen hype will not die , and in fact will massively increase going forward, because those claims are simply wrong . It is nearly as efficiency as the lithium-based solution, while being drastically less dependent on rar

You're thinking of liquid hydrogen tanks. A pressurized tank could store it for a very long time.

It's the thing that comes after the wind and solar revolutions. Everyone dismissed wind and solar as they happened, usually via a combination of ignoring cost reductions or not grasping what exponential growth is. Hydrogen is following

You forget that (2) leads to a solution for (1). You also forget that every other way of moving or storing energy is facing competition from hydrogen. Something that they will struggle against because none of them have a decent (2).

Fukuyama's theory was always badly named. It would be better respected if he called it "end of autocracy" or "end of tyranny," which are better names for his theory.

I wish people stop fantasizing about battery powered planes completely. All EV planes are ultra-lights without pressurized fuselages and no ability to fly in the tropopause. So they can never be particularly comfortable or safe aircrafts. A

The solution is not bother with space solar. Any other conceivable idea involving Earth-based solar, even if it means floating solar panels, a worldwide power grid, or vast energy storage solutions, will be far cheaper and more practical.

A fuel cell is a battery. It has the same fundamental efficiency as any other battery. Of course, this is not how it works in the real world, but people who cite "efficiency" are usually greatly exaggerating how it works. Most bat

How many people honestly have a job in crypto? And if you're going to group the whole industry, you might as well group the entirety of the utility industry as a comparison. Either way, it is tiny in comparison.

Probably not, as Enron was a real company and its collapse led to massive job losses. Crypto is just speculators losing money. More like Tulipomania, maybe Madoff if it can be proven that it was intentional.

It's cheaper to just electrify the gaps. His views are fundamentally nonsensical and shows that he hadn't really thought about the problem. Hydrogen trains are for remote tracks, sometimes thousands of miles of unelectrified rail.

For tracks that cannot justify the cost of electrification, you will want hydrogen trains. Battery trains make the least sense, since it is easier to electrify those short gaps than to buy an entire new class of locomotives.

Direct carbon capture makes sense whenever you have a high concentration of CO₂ emissions. The most obvious are cases where you can get pure carbon, not CO₂. Other times, it might be also worth capturing the CO₂ from something burning. Dire
