This is a Good Thing. Competitors with more money are going to do everything they can to get their product info in front of curious eyeballs. You want them to do it via obvious paid advertising rather than black hat SEO. And contrary to J

There's a quote from Niels Bohr that's helpful here, "The opposite of a trivial truth is trivially false; the opposite of a great truth is also true." Where people go astray is mistaking the one for the other. If someone

I thought this was an interesting point even if "similar number" was an exaggeration by an order of magnitude. Then I clicked through. Holy shit. If anything it's an underestimate. Hundreds and hundreds of American car compan

That's a great quote. I've often said that fulfilling work is one of the great joys in life, but leave it to Ursula LeGuin to say it better.

I find my joy in people is inversely related to their quantity. If I'm hiking a sparsely populated trail, then anyone I meet is worth a conversation. If I'm on a crowded subway, I do my best to shut everyone out. At a minimum, I t

Indefinitely, because most people do not consider it a "fiasco." Have you seen what the batteries look like for, say, the new 13" Macbook Pro or the 12" Macbook? They're not bricks you could just feed into a slot. T

This sounds a bit like the inter-city taxi system in Morocco. There's a central taxi park where you go and drivers call out their destination and number of seats remaining. When the taxi is full (or its getting close to the end of the

Everything I've seen on the Taycan compares it to the Model S, but I think the Model 3 Performance is the better comparison. It looks like Porsche will win on handling and Telsa on price with acceleration and range about even. If you w

Indeed. My understanding is that most socio-economic housing segregation is deliberate (on the part of those that can afford it). The ethno-racial segregation is a byproduct. Potential allies of reforming the latter are de facto opposition

I explicitly did not belittle Welsh society or the Welsh language. If you care to take exception to my language as simply inappropriate, I'll concede and apologize. If you insist on taking it as an insult to minority groups (your per

My mistake. Apparently there are stratifications within Level 2, and I've mostly encountered 240V 3.8KW chargers, which are about 12 mph, but there are also 240V 7.6KW chargers at about 26 mph. Level 1 charging makes sense at an office

Yeah, those are the three pain points, for sure. Public charging infrastructure is unevenly distributed and mostly terrible. Level 1 chargers for (14-20 mph of charging) are completely inadequate for public use and yet we keep adding more o

I used to own an Audi TTS, which is a fantastic little car, very fun to drive. Then I bought a Model S, which my girlfriend ended up driving. Great acceleration, but between the size and the air suspension, not sporty enough for me. I stuck
