I do reside (a lot of the time), in GuangZhou, and whilst there is certainly people who are like that, I know a lot who aren't. (Much like any other country). So I have a counter proof that your generalisation is too broad, hence why I

Well sure, technically, blacks aren't a race either, nor are whites or indians... technically we are All "human" but these semantics don't progress the discussion. I agree that right now, given China's recent histor

These are completely different issues (which you are simply conflating by race). The exam mentioned in the article is THE exam. If you fail, that's it for you. You can't re-sit and you can't attend a reputable university.

They don't need to store all the data if they can just compel whoever is storing it to give them access to said data. (Which seems to be what is alleged).

If it only cared about control then why wouldn't it just be doing what North Korea is doing? Why would it be working so hard to improve things? It's not a strawman it's very pertinent. I think you need to read Capital (Marx),

So blacks/whites are in the same boat? Could never be used to say anything racist because multiple ethnicities exist within those categories... riiiiight.

I'm a little skeptical a "revolution" will ever improve things (in the short term). Revolutions are generally costly in almost every way possible. China's growth and prosperity don't seem to justify one (at this p
