I didn't play the race card. I pointed it out. He could have used the terms "propaganda" or "astro turfing" instead he used the very ethnically charged (and derogatory) term "wu mao". Which is specifically Chinese, which is specifically N

That's a pretty rude response to a fairly moderate comment. So what's wrong with the dictatorship if it is "completely benevolent, non-brutal, and very business-oriented"? I realize that "all asians may look the same"[1], but Singapore isn'

A plasma TV has really LOW PPI... Like it's 50+ inches with only 1080 pixels down the screen... That's like a factor of 10 worse than retina displays...

I don't think he's saying that at all. Could you be viewing it from a place of judgement rather than compassion? Do most buddhist monks depend on other people to feed them? More so than the rest of us?

Talking about Buddhism as though it's just one belief is crap. That would be like grouping up Islam, Judaism, and the various Christian faiths and calling them the same. [1] Sure they all share "Buddha" in common, just as those above share

Why was the contest only between Romney and Obama? Why do you have to be uber wealthy to run in a country ruled "by the people"? The U.S's primary problem seems to be that it has transformed into (or perhaps always was) a corporate run olig

No other country is as prolific (in modern day). But that aside, I'm pointing out that saying "our government is better (for you!)" is complete BS. Countries in general shouldn't push their values on each other. Just because some do, does

Is nationalism a good thing though? By thinking your own country/people is great, aren't you creating a dichotomy where you think less of another country/people. (i.e. racism...) Maybe I'm over thinking it.
