I don’t know, I could be wrong but I think one of the key aspects of system design which I don’t know if there is a lot of training data for us the “why” behind decisions. Separating out good design from bad isn’t always black and white and

This is hilarious, I feel like we are going to see AI companies add something to the system prompt or terms of service that explicitly forbids having an LLM act as CEO. Honestly though I do hope this gives pause to the C suite when it comes

100% getting everything working for TidalCycles was rough, I remember needing to get Haskell, TidalCycles, and SuperCollider all communicating with each other and on the correct version. Once it was installed and working it was pretty solid

I think the biggest issue might not be the immediate team but upper leadership. Companies which have mandated AI usage override a lot of what an individual or individual team wants. If that’s the case then it would be a lot like fighting th

Have there been any cases since the Meta ruling with the books they torrented? If I understood it right they argued and won that they didn’t seed any of the torrents so is fair use and the judge agreed. That case made it seem like as long a

I wouldn’t be surprised if they try but I think the game streaming business model is mostly dead. Stadia was a huge flop, PlayStation has streaming for previous gen games and it sucks, Xbox also has a streaming offering but I haven’t heard

Honest question, do we know why crime isn’t being prosecuted anymore? I’ve noticed where I live this definitely seems to be the case and has a two fold effect, police aren’t even bothering to enforce laws because when they do the city/

The advice I have heard is if you think there will be a significant drop in the market you liquidate all your holdings while they are still high and then rebuy when the price is low. Granted this is a gamble though, if you’re wrong then you

It is a law but rarely enforced, also some places like Washington are primarily digital meaning you update your DL address online but they don’t print a new ID unless you request it or your DL is expired

I am very curious too, I’ve asked this to other friends who have mentioned the same thing and the only concrete answer I have got so far was teaching the theory of evolution and climate change.

Similar perspective from me, I really don’t understand why people in authority are allergic to making the correct decision and punishing bullies or even worse punishing the victim. From my own personal experience being bullied. I went to te

A lot of value is being created with some of these AI apps but are the people funding the development of these apps seeing a return on investment? (Honest question, I don't really know) The article mentions > This is a bubble driven

Agreed, I don’t think there is a reliable way to actually achieve what Recall is trying to accomplish. I think if all the models and stuff strictly ran locally with no chance of leaving the box it wouldn’t be as much of an issue at that poi
