This is really cool, I play Star Citizen a bit every time they release a new version just to see what they are up to. Persistent Entity Streaming was tech they were working on for a long time, it had a bit of a rocky launch but seems to be

I could definitely see this, I also wonder if this is why many breweries are scrambling to make non-alcoholic beers. The non-alcoholic beers have become so good IMO, I usually find myself reaching for one of those on a hot day rather than t

This has been my experience, in my area people have even found ways around the newly installed red light cameras, they just remove their license plate. Usually you would get hit with a pretty big ticket for that but the police are not enfor

I don't run a business so I can't directly answer your question but I can answer it from a consumer stand point. Assuming I find your product interesting a free trial or cheap (< $10) monthly subscription will get me in the doo

For me I think the answer is Star Citizen, I've always wanted a immersive space sim where I can explore other planets, fly cool space ships, and have space battles. The game is still in alpha and will likely be there for awhile longer

For me The Nordic Theory of Everything by Anu Partanen really upended my thoughts and opinions on systems in the United States.

I keep seeing these things pop up on here and I am starting to get the sense that the Chrome team at Google feels it is too big to fail. They don't seem to care about fixing their system, but once developers leave to your competitor yo

It could be interesting to make things based on percentages rather than hard numbers. Like loser has to pay 15% of net worth or something like that. Doesn't really even the playing field but it at least makes the stakes the same for

Is it just me or does it feel like in the last couple years all of these companies have had the quality of their search go down? I've noticed large portions of my search will go ignored and it will just grab the most popular terms in

Ok that trick with the playing card was cool. I'm impressed by the math that is behind this concept and all I could think about while watching it is every cheesy crime show calling out "enhance"

Just curious does anyone know why this type of shutter isn't used on modern digital cameras like DSLRs or mirrorless cameras?

I use this site a lot, it is pretty good for finding new music especially new genres of music. I discovered Arab Metal last week which was pretty good.

I agree with the article. My company transitioned to open office which I was very much against, but once the move happened I bought some nice comfortable headphones and adjusted to the environment, it was always loud, cramped, and lacking

My personal experience with Tumblr was weird. A friend of mine had it and talked about all the cool friends she made on it which sounded super cool, so I joined. From there things got real weird because in my experience the community is v

This makes me want to go build one, that looks so cool! More related to computers, I remember someone telling me that video games before depth of field were essentially rendering games from the point of view of a pinhole camera (i.e. everyt

Sleek new logo makes it look like a bicycle renting start up. While I think its good to refresh branding and aim to unify more things, I will miss the Go Gopher.

I'd love to know the answer to this, if there is one. Anecdotally: I have seen a couple studies pop up recently talking about how daily value of vitamin D has been wrong for a long time. This makes me think taking vitamin D might be t
