There's also a number of browser games that do the same thing- geoguesser being the big one. Paranoid idea is that the NSA could use these online games to do... something.

Something I realized a while ago is that even if there isn't EXIF data left behind, you can pretty easily track a lot of photos- I've seen pictures of houses with readable licence plates in the parking lot, or a street name visibl

I agree. Only thing I've ever used webtorrent for is quickly sending files to other people, which it excels at. Much easier than properly setting up a torrent, stuff like instant.io is really easy for other people to work with too.

Zeronet has a couple sites, and there's a kat mirror there too. Trouble is in still needing admins, which zernet doesn't do nicely.

I suspect all of tesla's high end cars will always have it- their lower grade cars are probably going to have a subscription of some kind. Also, consider that tesla essentially owns the largest amount of electric stops in the US. They&

Can't say I'm surprised. It's built into android now too, and the cast extension has been showing a lot of change recently.

Seems to me copperheadOS seems to be better on all fronts compared to blackphone- open, more functions, and some of it's fixes have been accepted into ASOP.

Chainfire of SuperSU/android fame has an app that does something to combat this called pry-fi[1] that randomizes a bunch of data, and can appear to be many devices at once. Requires root of course. https://play.google.com&#x

Multi-windowed mode can be found hiding in the options (which can only be edited with root) in 6.0.1, and it works well enough right now with just a few graphical bugs on very few apps. I'm guessing you're right, and if it does br

I guess that's significantly better than just de-orbiting the thing. Wonder who would be interested in such a thing, google and spaceX are really the only two that come to mind, and I honestly can't come up with much of a reason f

The issue is is that if a game is subpar, or even par, it's really, really obvious it's made with unity. All the best games you can't tell, but unity seems to have a sort of unique feel to it that you can pick out pretty easi

Sharex. Holy shit, sharex. It's a program that's a combination of a universal file sharer, screenshotter, image editor, screen recorder (which can output gif) and a seriously unbelievable suite of tools like OCR, image combiners,

That seems pretty damning to me personally, but I'm not a statistician. It's also something I would never think could give an advantage, but I guess it makes sense that it would, especially with some of these finishes that are wit

IT seems to me a lot more enthusiast desktops are using xeon processors instead of cores, this being one of the reasons people are making the swap- you gain a lot of performance/$$ because loosing integrated graphics saves a fair amoun

I feel I should toss up XKCD's golden ratio overlays[1] but I think it's really a chicken or the egg kind of argument- did processes involuntarily use math to come to these arrangements, or did we apply math to understand them? [1

So, I only use a hosts file for blocking on android, but look into how adaway handles it- you should be able to use the same hosts files it uses. Also, I think ublock origin has a good bunch of lists you can dump into hosts, you can use a c

That's neat- I was in the phone store the other day and saw the "moto mods" and thought to myself how it would be neat to hook into it- looks like this would make it quite a lot easier. Some of those moto mods are pretty cool

Ah, I've got the same kinda thing, the carts on my case have rubber bumpers that separate it from the rest of the case. Maybe get some of the rubber furniture nibs and see if you can stick em in there between the cage and case.
