It will take a while (keyboards and the lot are gonna be usb2/3 for some time) but the newer asus mobos (and I'm amusing others) have a USB-C jack on the back. Luckily, usb-c has usb2 pins right in the middle of it, so I don&#x27

You get a tiny fraction of the power of the card though, a 1080 would get you the performance of a 750. Also, I think it's kind of insane that instead of just getting decent onboard graphics your option is to buy a whole nother graphic

Weird, I've had all sorts of bugs happen to me, but I've never actually seen this particular one happen across 4 or so systems. As to your question, I figure it's the same as anything else in windows, legacy code. One library

In addition to what other people have said, it's feasible that he had a longer sleep schedule- maybe 36 hours instead of 24.

You kind of can already, stick linux on an ssd and just carry it about. I say ssd because not only are they fast, they can be powered over USB. I suppose the optimal version of this would be to have your userspace carried on a cell phone, s

Wow, this could be exciting, I'm really glad valve followed through on their word of opening this up, and it seems they've done so in a pretty good way. Providing an open standard for tracking is fantastic.

I don't think I've heard a single person say elite dangerous is better without VR. It's just so much better with it than without, I can't not use it. Mind you, I just have google cardboard, but it's kinda similar, r

I don't really think there's a difference. My thoughts is that brushing pushes most of it off, but pushes some stuff into small holes and stuff, which is then removed by flossing.

by Vexs 10y ago
Personal antecedent is that I never flossed for 18 years, and would always walk out of the dentist with a bleeding gum somewhere in my mouth, and my teeth would hurt drinking cold water, etc, but when I finally started flossing all those pr

Seriously, I've clicked through that on purpose many times with a lot of open-source projects, in development stuff, hell, I've gotten unsigned programs from companies!

I think the biggest issue with google right now is they have so many simple answers available. If I google some even slightly in depth problem, I'm bombarded with quarter explanations from "popular" sites like howtogeek, cnet

I finished the expanse series in about a week- it's a fantastic sci-fi, but it's really not for people who go in expecting action. Most of the series is space politics, as well as an annoying tendency to just vaguely hint at alien

Yep, it's a similar problem in a lot of fronts- most of the time $200+ isn't worth a 5% increase in quality.

What bugged me about the media coverage of the leaks is the stupid russian thing. Cnn had an article, and more than half it was discussing how it could be russians providing the leak, with bits like "Refused to confirm or deny the leak

This was one of the more fun sciencey things to keep track of, and it brought space back into the media for a short time. Godspeed lil' probe. Anyway, I kind of wish people would edit this style of title to something like "It&#x27

In addition to the other things people have mentioned, the NSA appears to be fond of retroreflective bugs that don't transmit anything, but reflect incoming signals with modulation.

In a similar vein, I've seen a lot of push in some communities to move to a zeronet-based torrent site.

Zeronet has a couple good torrent sites set up on it.

Not surely- the old titan X didn't have any video ports on the back. It's a computing card, not a video card.

Wow, it kind of sounds insane that we don't have multiple-copy paste by default now. Come to think, I can think of a bunch of times where I open up notepad to store a copy-paste.

I think Mr Robot has good tech in it, because it's not a show about tech CSI-Cyber style. It's a drama, which uses tech as a basebone. All the hacking largely stays in quick snippets displayed, and maybe a sort of slow-marathon st
