I think it would have been extremely hard to do anything meaningful with AI though without a business model. The hardware and research is expensive.

This has been so exciting. Thanks for the drama lads. I can't wait to see this made into a movie one day. Edit: I hope Trent Reznor does the soundtrack!

Come on. The 'non-profit' and good of all was always bullshit. So much silicon valley double-speak. I've never seen a biggest mess for a company structure in my life. Just call a spade a spade.

On a personal level it's depressing when you work on something and put so much energy into it to see it not work out. When you're an adult you spend [way too much] time around the people at work so losing that is also like losing

I really don't get it. People build open source projects because it gives them unlimited freedom to build what they want. Open source was never about money. If you care about that there's far easier ways to get paid (and disclaime

Not really. ADHD is well documented in brain scans that show a lack of activation and structural differences. You can actually see the difference between the brain of a person with ADHD and a control. It's not just 'having weak di

I've gone through the process now of being reviewed for ADHD both in Australia and the US, and I can say Australia really makes the process nightmarish. To start with: the meds are so restricted ordinary doctors / GPs can't p

Bro, every single company does this forced diverse branding. The reality is: if you're a woman or a minority at a tech company you're going to feel lonely as hell. Am I being racist by saying that too, or am I being realistic? Com

As a networking nerd I respect the project OP. Very good learning exercise. There are still many unsolved problems in networking, too. It's a bit of an esoteric field.

No, I stand by what I said and it isn't racist. Though I can see why you think it is. I don't have a problem with black people in tech. But trying to paint a false image to make something seem different to reality? Yeah, that'

Love the pic of the black and white dev. Got to have that diversity, baby! Doesn't matter that only 8% of tech employees are black. No, in corpo-magic-fucking-pixie-bullshit-land they make up 50%.
