Muni had uptake mainly in the areas that commercial didn't service, and after that everything just kind of froze. They never, ever seem to try to compete on price, and I assume that upgrading equipment is expensive for either ISP. Wwhe

Ten years ago my hometown built a municipal ISP. It since then has done the bare minimum to keep the network going, and is total crap. There is one other cable ISP, but they effectively have to compete with the terrible speeds and service o

In the USA this is called "hipster racism" where you re-use racist slurs or caricatures to make a point about racism. But some feel that this is still unacceptable because the propagation of the racist imagery still hurts. I am no

It makes sense, they became political when guns came under political threat. As a side note, it's funny to see that parts of the media still mechanically repeat LaPierre calling the ATF "jack booted government thugs" in 1995

This is a an unworkable viewpoint because it has no limiting principle. What if a person comes in for a job interview and is wearing a turban because they're a sikh? Should you put up a screen between you and the interviewer? Give them

Police in the United States are not philosophically derived from the Peelian Principles. Police are civilians and not military, but they are government agents of the state you live in, with powers above those of citizens.
