I'll concede that there may be a jump in logic. And it is upsetting that a developer that plays by the rules gets denied for some unforeseeable reason. But I am tired of reading the same Apple is screwing the developers story. Why so much n

It's cleaver. The last line about how Digg has dugg their own grave also made me chuckle a bit.

I don't think these types of stories are scaring off anybody since we've been reading about App Store rejections for the last two years and it seems that companies and developers continue to want to make apps for iPad/iPod/iPhone. It sounds

I feel like the average viewer is going to take this video at face value since they may not see the subtle reference to the Google Chrome speed tests video. Saying that you're faster than a cooked potato in hot water isn't saying much. I do

I feel like the $5 price tag plus advertisements might be a result of Wired passing on the cost of Adobe's misfortune to the consumer.

The article also pointed out that pages that would otherwise work fine on a PC were borked or had slow performance. This is not the 1-to-1 flash support I think users are expecting.

I really don't mind developing for the latest and greatest versions of the popular browsers. I think there is a surprising amount of congruency among them. Where it gets difficult is developing for older versions of browsers. This article s

I don't know about the old Google home page but the current one I see only has one <table> and it's wrapping what I would consider to be tabular data.

I could have used a plugin like this back when I would write scripts that polled to see when the #hash had changed in the document.location. Plugins like this are great for SEO if you want your users to be able to link to different sections

This post made me laugh. And I think it is exactly at what I trying to get at when I said that internationalization isn't easy. Nice!

That sounds like a good little usability trick. I might do that next time I have a countries dropdown in a form.

Wufoo is pretty good for pre-made forms. And they advertise that they can do US and International phone, mail and currency fields.

I think this blog post REALLY overlooks the fact that interface localization isn't easy; even with a simple web forms. The interface for a search engine is a single input field with dynamic suggestions and people were in an uproar when Bing

I also like to tell people what basic SEO is not: 1. SEO is not keyword frequency. Although the page you are optimizing needs to contain the search term you are trying to rank for it shouldn't be saturated with that term. The first four wor

I like the idea of paying to skip the ads at movie theaters. Although, theaters are already pretty expensive. Maybe an "ad-free" version of the film playing during times of the day when movie patronage is slow. But I gotta say that DVDs are
