I would nitpick that it needs to be correctly orientated such that it's perpendicular to the horizon. This is of course convenient to do but is important when placing your own smaller antennas vs say putting them at off angles or paral

Thanks for the correction, a dipole has more of a doughnut radiation pattern vs the perfect sphere of an isotropic giving directionality perpendicular to the antenna. A theoretical perfect dipole has 2.15 dBi gain over the perfect theoretic

So its not actually a 1MW transmitter, its 330KW, but since the antenna is not omni and somewhat directional, it has 1MW "Effective Radiated Power". Which really means how much power it would need to have if it was a true omni ant

Well guess I can't buy a empty lot in a forested area and use an irradiance map to calculate how much solar capacity I would have with my plans, nor can I lookup my Starlink coverage with the FCC map because according to you that would

Solar doesn't deliver to a wooded property either, doesn't mean the solar maps are bullshit. You can cut trees down if you want satellite or solar, this is not impossible to do. You can dig a trench to run fiber from the road, but

That's like saying it's bullshit because you have to put up a pole or dig a trench to get a wire from the road to your house to get fiber. Or that solar irradiance maps are bullshit because you have trees. The provider gets the se

Unified memory using high bandwidth buses to support both GPU and CPU and the rest. I believe Apple uses very specific LPDDR5 packages then the pro and max have 2x and 4x buses so you need that many packages. This is why the M1 comes in 8GB

I have masonry walls in FL, US but with little insulation since my house was built in the 1950's. Masonry is pretty common in the US especially on the first floor. My house has a lot of thermal mass so the sun will shine all day on the

Sorry if this is hard to believe, you are saying the temperature doesn't swing more than a few degrees between full sun at 30 degrees and no sun all night at 17 degrees. Your house is losing heat constantly something must replace it, t

I believe HPCVC charging is targeting up to 3 Megawatts for heavy vehicles 1500V X 2000A. This would allow a megawatt hour battery to charge in 20 minutes, still not as good a diesel pump which is probably closer to 6-10MW equivalent, I kno

Is it a modern diesel with DPF and SCR? The smell from the exhaust of my 2021 6.7 liter cummins diesel motorhome is actually almost undetectable to me while my 2016 V10 gas motorhome had a very noticeable smell. Perhaps the diesel is not UL

Diesel is more efficient than gas as far as MPG, so CO2 is actually less per mile, NOx and particulates should be equivalent on a modern diesel with DPF and DEF SCR.

I would hope this means it soon be native Apple Silicon on Mac soon since all the hard work porting to ARM is done. Runs fine through rosetta on my M1 Pro but would be nice for larger maps and power efficiency.

It is an issue when your parked off grid and run off battery, 90w is significant. My 5G router with wifi 6 pulls under 10w direct 12v DC. It looks like the flat dish is actually 110-150w and requires AC power, so not great for off grid usag
