I had a quick look at your videos, especially the Javascript ones. My first impression is that your presentations are not as well organised as the the OP ones. For example, looking at the Javascript Classes and Inheritance Tutorial , you e

Interesting. What reputable universities waive the MSc's pre-requisites based on life experience? Any in the UK? I think this is a great idea as I find myself in the same boat. Very experienced and can do the job but no paper to impress peo

There is an interesting quote that goes something like this: "when your hairdresser starts talking about the market, it is time to get out of the market". Now I doubt your hairdress will be talking about bitcoins any time soon, they are t

That was the result of a study (in other words, science). Where is your proof that the study is invalid? Note that I am not saying that the result is fact, just that there is science to indicate that things are not as simple as they may app

How is an expert on sleep saying something MIGHT be true now being classed as pseudo science and not to be taken seriously? Your rebuttal of this "pseudo science" is that you perceive that you personally need 8.5 hours sleep - now that sm

I don't agree that there is any fundamental difference in functionality between callbacks and promises. Promises don't somehow magically make asynchronous code easy to write while leaving callbacks out in the cold. They have very similar s

Charles Babbage had a working computer long before Turin. If he could have implemented it in transistors or even valves rather than mechanical relays how much further would we have been today? The way I see it, you don't need to understand

Don't agree here. You have to set a category, unless you are claiming that the Turing Universal Machine is a greater invention than the transistor, or penicillin or the wheel or fire or writing etc etc.

Basically, you are pretty much wrong with all your points, at least that which you ascribe to my motives and thoughts. You are trying to twist my meaning into something different and then judge me on that - Classic straw man argument. My po
