There are exercises to increase vocal range and deepen voice. Obviously there's a limit but our voices are not as fixed as most people think.

That is interesting. My wife occasionally tells me I'm speaking too loudly. I haven't encountered this in the workplace, but perhaps they are intimidated / too kind to say anything.

I have a deeper voice and in the workplace this appears to be an advantage. Hard to test it scientifically, but it seems my colleagues listen more intently when I speak than they do to others. This could be due to other factors but I'v

This is why the Bitcoin bubble is interesting. Large wealth transfer to non-conformists. I've seen them fund some pretty cool stuff, garbage NFTs aside.

The narrative did change though, passionate people or not. Bitcoin was about permissionless digital cash initially, and then it shifted into a digital store of value. That's much less compelling to me and many of the early passionate p

You can cut out entire categories of food or drink though. People drink way more calories than they realize. Drink water instead of soda. It's definitely hard but the "just say no" approach can work. I do recommend taking it

As someone else on the left it's pretty eye opening just to read some of the questions. Would you take a punch if someone you hated took two punches? Would you go to hell if you could ensure your rivals ended up there with you? Jesus.

This claim that the best writers write slowly is suspicious at best. Many of the best writers out there were prolific. And there are innumerable bad writers who barely write at all. Writing is an iterative process. I'm skeptical of adv
