I'm in the same boat as you, video games are a competitive thing for me. I've been a CounterStrike junkie since CS became a thing in the 90's? I don't remember the year but I've probably spent more than a thousand h

The US Govt kills people on foreign soil often, even in countries that we're not at war with. If we hear about it happening in Pakistan, where does it happen that we don't hear about? Also, you're assuming that the US Govt is

I think the public has a short attention span. What if Snowden disappeared without a trace? He wouldn't be a martyr - intelligent people might assume that he's dead, and everyone else would be worried about the current distraction

Snowden will probably end up dumped in the middle of the ocean like "Bin Laden" ostensibly was.

I think recommending LSD is a bad idea. If it works for you, great, but even the best doctors can't agree on what drugs are helpful most of the time. I have friends who have used LSD and other drugs in the past and have experienced man

Neither my wife's parents nor mine are involved in our lives, and I can say it makes a huge difference - our friends whose parents are involved with the grandchildren have it much easier. Being an island is very, very difficult.

Paint.NET is a really good equivalent to paint: http://www.getpaint.net/index.html It's much more powerful than the old paint program, but much simpler than Gimp. It only works on Windows though, so it may not work for

I love Gimp and Inkscape. The Gimp vs Photoshop debate is irrelevant to me because I can't afford Photoshop - it's Gimp or nothing for me.

We have a similar application in PHP. By the time I've traced through all of the included files that are touched by a particular function, I've forgotten what I'm looking for. It's truly a nightmare.
