But why do they have a monopoly on violence? If no one has a right to life then enforcing that monopoly is pointless.

Theft of a vehicle (perhaps a constructed theft or the technical term for theft of a lost item) is almost always a felony, if not because of the item then because of the dollar value. Have you seen any case law in states about shooting tow

The issue is it can end up in an impound lot or tow yard and there seems to be no systematic VIN checking. The car could be auctioned without your knowledge. I always figured it was supposed to not work like this, as the title change is t

Not being able to figure out what it does is reasonable if they have no idea what KVM or a USB switch is.

Most have an autosetup that can get you to a shell via ssh, worth looking into. It also seems like you can switch from any computer currently connected. Have your normal computer switch to the other computer's input.

They are not separable in a public health crisis. Your personal autonomy does not trump other's right to life. That well educated people can't tell the difference is what is surprising.

I think it is pretty surprising. They're getting strong pushback internally from ostensibly well educated employees.

What about perf counters for these things? Some did exist. My i7-4770K has many not present on newer models, especially in regards to uncore dram control. Did they get removed or are they just not populated in the perf binding for the kerne

When made properly this is only supposed to be on one end. If it's on both you do get a loop, but the disruption to the signalling doesn't manifest as audio noise in the way the website seems to be speaking of.

No ground loops in Ethernet. The signalling wires are driven through transformers, isolating them from ground to improve noise immunity. Latency maybe, but the article doesn't talk about it, and this is typically solved the same way it

His surprise is still reasonable, because as time goes on our information will get more precise. So, if this is true, you could buy today and then be unable to sell in 10 years as the market moves.

It is and is not really relevant for non-mathematicians. If there is finally an digitization of the system then I suspect programmers will find it useful, but until then, it is useful for exploring mathematics separate from set theory. E.g.

There's a Russian plane mounted autocannon that was not practically usable because it shook the plane apart. Light bulbs and other glass would break when fired and the airframe sustains structural damage.

A lot of things appear unsustainable because the income of builders is inflated with fed money. I don't think much will improve until a normal person can afford to build a house again.

There's more options than just a global carry flag, like a n+1th bit on each arithmetic register. Actually, that is how I assumed they would implement it.

I don't think it would be that easy. You need to distribute the indexing data. But you could federate search servers and have them send queries to others.
