I can't help but be reminded of: http://xkcd.com/1118/ as I read this. Bundling a browser with an operating system seems much more innocent than the lack of openness in the mobile world.

This looks great. Honestly, a lot of the stuff on the front page of HN is there simply because of the domain name associated with it. It's nice to have something like this. I'm going to try and use it as a replacement.

Some opinions hold more weight than others. I'm not sure what the law is in the United States, but in Canada if an engineer gives poor, actionable advice in some field related to engineering he can be held liable for any damages related to

I honestly don't even know what to say when these things come up nowadays. It just seems like the bullshit won't end. I can't think of any options that even exist to fix this broken patent system.

Part of the problem with Canada is that it's less dense than many other countries. Unless you already have serious financing, it's going to be very difficult to be able to pay for your own fiber lines. I imagine the regulation makes it toug

My thoughts exactly. It would be almost trivial to find out where someone has driven their car after committing a crime. I'm curious to see what might happen if they deploy these in US cities.
