Hey do you have any opinion on the current utility of ui.sh? I wanted to buy it but I'm a bit wary of it just not being useful and they don't have a preview of a single skill.

Would've happened either way. Data is more valuable and also trivial to scrape now.

I've had some use cases with low latency requirements and frequent data updates. If you want to serve data on a frontend fast it's often not feasible to recompute everything every time

What does it matter if it's an HR person or the CEO telling me? The job is not coming back either way.

Oh my god you people can't enjoy anything. It's just cool workspace inspiration and a place for people to share their setups, can't we just take it for what it is?

What kind of comment is this? Such bad faith and adding nothing to the discussion.

Isn't his point exactly that we don't want to have too many function colors and instead want a generic way of declaring side effects so people can do what they want (be it try fns, IO, async, etc..., no panicking)?

Hey Sam, love your tweets. Have a couple of questions: - What kind of Drizzle x Planetscale specific integrations can we expect to see? - Is Drizzle considering expanding from Typescript to other languages like Python? (which has very poor

Is this an AI response? This account was created 4 days ago and all its comments follow the exact same structure. The comments are surprisingly not easy to tell it's AI but it always makes sure to include a "it's X, not Y&quo

Can you go on Twitter right now and generate CSAM using Grok?

Isn't the algorithm published monthly on GitHub since a couple of weeks ago? You think they are gonna find a commit message "feat(racism): improve antisemitism capabilities". Not sure what they're gonna prove with this.

Agreed, thankfully, there is no CSAM feature, and they patched it in a couple of days so that it would stop obeying requests to do so and banned the users abusing Grok for that purpose. Once they prove they have put the appropriate mechanis

Do you honestly not believe it is likely that EU is importing votes? Also, haven't you seen the general push towards censorship, attempts to ban VPNs, and all the other shenanigans happening in the EU? Do you believe this is disconnect

Yes this is most definitely not related to the attacks on X and Telegram, France is definitely not attempting to crack down on free speech!

HL Alyx ruined most VR games for me because they never lived up to Half-Life, and no one but Valve could make such a high-profile game. VR is a genre that benefits A LOT from high budgets. I enjoyed games like No Man's Sky in VR, but t

This barely qualifies as a critique; it's a hit piece with no constructive criticism and some anti-capitalist rhetoric thrown in. > The National Design Studio is a clear case of nepotism, and they're greatly overpromising. Dism

Mhm but I don't believe inherently violent and dangerous things like guns and cigarretes are comparable to simple technology. Should the creators of Tornado Cash be in prison for what they have enabled? You can jail them but the world

So if a hypothetical open source enthusiast who fell in love with GPT-OSS and killed his real wife because the AI told him to should only be himself held accountable, where as if it were GPT-5 commanding him to commit the same crime, it wou

That's a slippery slope! By that logic, you could argue that the creators of Tor, torrenting, Ethereum, and Tornado Cash should be held accountable for the countless vile crimes committed using their technology.

The figures they've been talking of the ideal cost per launch of starship are even more insane. I'm sure some of it is hype farming on Twitter but if they get the cost to less then $1000/kg it would be incredible.

Curious to what you would think if this kid downloaded an open source model and talked to it privately. Would his blood be on the hands of the researchers who trained that model?
