No one is going to fall for the promises of the USSR system, that's for sure. 5 million Ukrainians already run away from it. I think they are doing great, much better than those who stayed in a war zone (where many were brutally tortur

Putin lost the war. A new leader would be a man of courage to say that clearly. And he would lead the country to prosperity instead of more killings and stagnation.

Russia does not only leave their own people behind but actively send more to die. Of course, there will be some limit how far they can go. It is expected that at some point there will be a new leader who will intervene and stop these sense

Why don't Russia admit that if Russia had not started the war in 2014, countless people in those territories and beyond would not been killed? The only way to end this conflict peacefully is for Russia to retreat.

Loss? People changing countries is not loss of lives. Not even remotely so. The way out is very simple – the war can be stopped in the same way as in Afghanistan.

Of course, they are writing good things about deceased. But what kind of good things? Mentioning 15,000 killed in Afghanistan is quite daring at this time. I remember Afghanistan very well because I lived in the Soviet Union at that time. E

Derek Lowe had a review about testing of mRNA flu vaccines and they were not better than current ones. In a way they could be even worse because they had more side effects. I heard about mRNA vaccine trials for cancer. I don't know the

Somehow I think there more parents who sometimes need to take a photo of their naked children than there are paedophiles. Or at least the ratio is clearly not 1:100000, maybe more like closer to 1:10. You would need statistics how many time

Google should have stopped business in Russia like many other western companies. They are not doing this because they hope to make money. It is a bad decision because ultimately they won't be able to juggle Russian requirements and wil

Maybe it is but maybe not. With physical SIM mailing to a physical there is at least some kind of verification to ensure that you are the one who owns it. With digital only there is more chance of fraud. And I don't even mean it when

How could they diversify with organic farming if there was not enough demand for organic tea in the world? I mean, they could diversify by not growing food at all and have some entirely different business like IT services, high-tech manufac

It seems more a problem with Costa Rica than Wise who only needs to follow the local rules. Interesting that wire transfers can be done but not Wise transfers but that is probably caused by Costa Rica strict rules.

The government could have tried to borrow money internationally to buy fertilizer. If properly presented the issue (such as great risk of starvation), the IMF or World Bank would have helped. Then they could export some crops and give the c

It is interesting though how birth rates have dropped during pandemic. Probably due to lockdowns and other restrictions that caused people to delay dating, marriage and decisions to have a baby. Linking this to vaccines is completely unjust

Well, gambling is legal in many places. The US does not allow it online but many other countries do. For the same reason crypto will survive as a form of gambling in many countries even if some countries won't allow it.
