In Australia we've gone back to normal entirely except for institutions that face public scrutiny if you go back too early (universities, government, some tech companies - the former just announced they'll start sending people bac

I think it’s fair to write a post criticising systemic, terrible things like racism, abuse, toxic work culture. But this just reads like a shit deal in a tech company. To his point, others could have different experiences. So why write it a

If you're in Australia, I've submitted a case to ACCC. If you're an Australian reading this - do the same, you'll get your refund.

You have stamp duty and all sorts of other measures in place at a state level (looking at Land Tax in QLD) that at least generates revenue from this. New Zealand has none of these, and as a result property flipping is rampant - the turnover

We've been saying that for 15 years though.. Sure the interest rates are rock-bottom right now but still most of our countries main investment is property. Until there's legislation to control rent or tax land, I think we're

True, my views are non-American. For example when I go to a convenience store, I pay the price listed on the item. I don't have to do math in my head that's +x% sales or state tax. That type of practice just isn't acceptable

Here in Australia you need to list the minimum contract term too. So if you're listing for $x/mo but require 1 year lease - the listing will say 1 year lease (unless it's been data-scraped by a Real Estate website and reliste

This is disingenuous at best, and fraudulent at worst - and I know ACCC in Australia will take a very dim view. Take the main page for instance, the one you linked - it lists monthly prices. No mention whatsoever of "annual pricing pai

I truly hope Mozilla survives the next decade. They need leadership with opinionated direction, and I don't think this is it. Right now they're looking to be lead without a good funding avenue.

Yeah Clubhouse has already been scraped, I was taking a look at their API the other day it’s pretty much public by default. Someone with enough accounts and IPs could stream every Clubhouse room theoretically.
