How do you deal with temperature (roughly -60°C/-70°F)? Do you heat the batteries? What about icing? It might be too cold for it at that altitude?

Have you tried taking the time instead of asking for it? It works surprisingly well in my experience, with very little pushback (and when there's pushback, it's important to understand why and address it). The first few months you

In my opinion the cover letter should explain why you applied to this offer. Your cover letter adds nothing, it basically repeats some of your resume. What made you apply to this one and not others (of course you probably applied to other

I think the expectations are different for salaried workers in the US and (most?) EU countries. In the EU, salaried workers are usually contractually required to work a certain amount of time, unlike the US where it is more "do the wor

Sure, but as you said in the end a carbon tax sounds more like a wealth redistribution scheme than something that helps with climate change. If you give more money to the less well off, they'll just polute/consume more. Meanwhile

Wouldn't a carbon tax that is noticeable to these guys be crippling for pretty much everyone else? Yes, you get the money back eventually, but there's a time lag and no amortisation. Big purchases might become impractical.

I don't know about Sweden in particular, but things have moved very quickly in this space, especially since Covid. It's very common that things that used to be cash only (food trucks, car parks, ...) have moved to $local_system

Interestingly enough in Switzerland, the 15-24 age category just became the age group with the highest number of sick days per year, when it used to be the oldest age group before the pandemic. https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng

That's pretty much what they are saying as far as I can tell? My experience is pretty similar to theirs, root cause analysis takes a lot of time per device, and there's rarely once single failure cause for all of them.

I guess the difference is that in the US you can just fire someone if you suspect them of breaking your trust, whereas in France you would need a long process and paper trail with medium confidence of actually being able to go through.
