It's still pretty bad in some fairly common languages like French. For instance "'" really trips spellchecker, as well as some tense (subjunctive). For instance "que je n'embête".

Job security might be a good thing at the individual level, but imo it's pretty awful at the system level. It promotes inefficiencies. It's much better to have a liquid employment market with a solid social net instead. Switzerl

While the concept is neat, I struggle a bit to see how it can be useful in practice. Do you have an example for the sufficiently constrained case? That sounds like the most interesting case by far.

You can however still download and use an older version of the kindle program (at least on windows), which download the files with the old DRM scheme. It's one by one though.

Well, you asked how it worked, not whether it was effective at fighting inequality. My understanding is that it's not very effective, because any foreign-held asset is pretty much hidden from Switzerland, unless there's an agreeme

You declare all the assets you own* in your tax declaration (bank accounts, properties, art, cars, equity, ...), even if abroad. You also declare your debts. I don't know how they enforce/check that, especially for foreign-based a

We use Bazel at work for C++, and while defining targets and dependency is easy, I've really struggled with some stuff I would consider basic, like conditionally changing build flags, especially to external dependencies. Basically, I w

I don't think the general use case is once per minute though, more like once per hour unless something goes wrong. Something like ensure pipeline pressure is still nominal for remote parts of the pipeline.
