Setting aside any hatred for the government and mistrust, how does Company A share information with Company B (or the FBI) about how a hacker got into their networks? Is the concern that Google is going to hand over your browser history und

But there's no real value in adding someone who plays this game to a watchlist. If analysts are discounting the value of membership to a watchlist because of the amount of noise such as what you're suggesting, then the watchlist i

The comparison is inaccurate, though. You're supporting being factually incorrect to scare people?

You'd be alarmed and surprised to find that not nearly as many as 102 people would say no.

Yeah, your view here is pretty obtuse. The whole point is to explore the differences in decisions between people, and by saying "no one could convince me of a different decision" is to completely ignore the reason the hypothetica

Sometimes, sites accept feedback related to their ads, and will take actions based on that feedback. pyhs.org might consider this, if they don't do it already. I feel this to be the most constructive way to deal with complaints about

So? The point remains the article specifically cites a situation where the adoption process fails, which directly contradicts the previous statement, and lends credence to the theory that the commenter hadn't actually read the majorit

The word "stupid" has no valuable meaning in rational discourse, so I've appropriated it in this case to mean, "evokes a negative emotional reaction." I hope this wasn't too harmful to the conversation, though

Google seems to be trying a bunch of different things to leverage this downright stupid mentality embedded in a subset of the Internet population that YouTube is a platform for music (sans video). It's not Google's fault that f

Well, not to be pedantic, but the article actually does say the adoption tactic failed, at least once: > There had been an article in The Advocate about a couple in the Midwest who unsuccessfully tried to adopt each other in order to f

I didn't say anything of the sort. I said metadata isn't data and just because metadata is about you/your data, doesn't mean you own it. I've been intentionally vague so as to discuss this in more macro terms rathe
