Why even bother talking about it? Cricut's PR people aren't going to read this thread and get all scared. They probably won't even get scared if the IS a lawsuit. I'm not trying to defend the Cricut people, but there

I'm not switching to Wayland. It simply doesn't do anything for me. It also doesn't function with many of the GPUs I use.

Let's not amuse ourselves by pretend threatening large companies with vague threats of lawsuits. They don't care. Lawsuits don't scare big companies. They have more, and better, attorneys than normal people.

No, we get all of that with time-worn traditional methods which work well, are documented properly, and conform to standards. I’m not interested in beta testing Red Hat’s replacement for Linux.

sh isn't a horror show, it's a POSIX standard and it's pretty easy to learn. Does systemd conform to any known standard? Of course not, they're making it up as they go. When's it going to be finished? Nobody knows.

Our organization. It doesn’t make sense to rely on software which grows to consume all available niches. Systemd is a perfect example of this kind of software. I don’t wish to have to ascertain what new features it’s reimplemented, sometime

There’s more to life than fuel economy and emissions. One trip of a bulk freighter carrying wood chips to be made into toilet paper produces more emissions than hundreds of thousands of people driving their cars all year long. If you decide

I was BLOWN AWAY by this STUNNING new technology! The brilliant minds at Adobe have done it yet again. This changes everything. Adobe (ticker symbol ADBE) keeps innovating and defining the very future of creative imaging software. From the

That change log is HUGE and it’s the main reason we don’t use systemd. Creeping featurism isn’t good in your OS when you need things to be consistent and work the same every time. Systemd has a lot of state.

If inflation’s not a threat then moving away from inflationary assets isn’t a threat either. And that’s precisely what lots of people are trying to do right now.

How is it even a bubble? A bare handful of high status sales? Sure the asking price for some silly crypto kitty might be high but is anybody really buying? And where's the proof that they are?
