Problematic name, could become a millstone on the neck of the developer far into the future.

For me? It's Org Mode for writing. But it's easy to understand how people can become productive in an environment which they spent time learning how to use. And of course there's a modern, Free clone called WordTsar as mentio

Look at Apple's forums, it's a complete morass with some moderation removing comments hostile to Apple, but without any solution or interaction from any Apple personnel. It's notoriously bad.

RPN is just so much better. An interesting note, the HP 50g can be programmed in RPL, but you can also use the equation editor and mix and match code and equations.

You probably understand how serious this is, so many people are going to become very emotional as this strikes at the very foundations of the Internet and digital security as we know it. The reactions I've seen so far do seem very emot

I still use one of these to store my passwords and run certain ancient astronomy software. Today, we don't have any decent small computers which run of AA's.

To me it's the creepy corporate weirdos who are scary, even more than the government. And if you carry a cell phone those creepy corporate weirdos can all track you.

Back with the CTS Labs AMD debacle, it became clear that Bloomberg isn't trustworthy. These were known scam artists, who called a RELATIVE working inside Bloomberg to push stories which weren't actually true. Nobody ever apologi

Objectively, ATRAC was worse than CD as a compressed format. But it was actually very cleverly done, and it sounded better than MPEG audio at the same bit rate. What killed the format was Sony's aggressive policy of forcing you to use
