I think 3 is flawed in general, since 5% price increase often does not result in 5% salary increase. Wages have not kept up with inflation/CoL especially at the bottom, for decades. Instead, consumption would probably drop, especially

Private industry is certainly not immune from incompetence or accounting scandals. Wirecard just happened, and history has many other examples. Corruption exists in both private and public sectors.

Seems like you could say since the Nazis moved the Jews to ghettos and had plans to move them to "Madagascar" it wasn't genocide either.

The accuracy of the Bible and its influence on the US is its own can of worms. It was heavily referenced both for and against slavery, and was certainly not convincing enough proof "that God made only one kind of "mankind" an

Police involvement is often a spectacle, and attracts a lot of negative attention. Many would consider having the police called on them embarrassing/shameful/stressful/mental health pain.

>So call the police or begin a private prosecution if a law is being violated. You could certainly call the police on someone violating the mask mandate, but wouldn't calling the police also result in "mental health pain"

>I think you should use your logic to campaign for legislation or regulation, not try to force people by applying pain. There are already legal mandates around mask wearing and there are many who still refuse.

It sounds like you want people to censor themselves in a way you find appropriate, based on what you believe freedom of speech means.

Threats of all kinds are made every day, and often in completely legal contexts. Threats of violence are often less tolerated, but even in some contexts protected under freedom of speech.

I agree with pretty much all you said. Mainly, I do not find it very genuine that they only implemented this policy, likely with extra effort, in one territory. This feels like a play to capture market share and increase growth, even if it

I believe free speech does not cover "true threats". I don't think a consumer complaint threatening to not do business is going to be considered a "true threat" against a company.

This would be hard to legally call extortion, since consumers are free to do business with who they please, and there is a strong history of boycott activity. Also if it were illegal, then many negotiating tactics become extortion. Is threa

It sounds like you will protect free speech by suppressing certain forms of free speech? I would not necessarily be against anti-harassment/doxxing laws, and stronger employee protections around firings. However, also stronger hate spe

Then why isn't this the policy across all territories? Weaseling out sounds correct if they are only doing it to get around local laws.

It doesn't matter if it's OpenGL ES 3.0 certified if the drivers don't expose it, and OpenGL ES isn't really well supported on the desktop compared to standard OpenGL or Vulkan. Android is a better environment for OpenGL

I would be prepared to be underwhelmed at using a rpi as a desktop. Graphics drivers still need work. This is where I think Apple can do it right. They can tune drivers and fully optimize system performance, since they basically own the who

Okay then why bring up the abuse from the production at all? Just review the film as-is? It sounds like not a very good film and the more interesting story is the story of its making, which this article brings up multiple times throughout.
