Just reading this post triggered my anxiety. I don’t think I’ll ever make it though a single one of these FAANG interviews if at all I want to work for one.

Thanks, just looked it up as well. But to the GP’s point, I do hope Google/Apple start banning apps (especially released by governments) even if they don’t use the contact tracing API.

Does the Indian app use the contact tracing API? I was under the assumption that it used the regular location/Bluetooth APIs in android.

A little disappointed it’s not the rumoured 14” model as I’ve been looking to replace both my 15” and 13” MacBooks. Also, regarding other comments on “just” the 4 core CPU - it’s probably all they could squeeze in without having to redesign

Dumb question from a non Erlang person - can this be used along with Elixir? I’m looking at Phoenix LiveView but would love to use Gleam for core functionality. Is this anything like Scala/Clojure and compiles down to Erlang, I’m guess

So WSL2 is supported on windows 10 Home as well, which is great. Does that mean Home also gets official Hyper V support?

I made the mistake of being a rational adult and not hoarding essentials. I haven’t been able to find toilet paper, hand sanitiser or facial tissues in the past 10 days. I live in a rented apartment and don’t really have space to store stuf

I found this extremely helpful. I’ve always been interested in Rust but never got around to it cause most of the source code I’ve read on GitHub was overwhelming. This is a nice walkthrough to get someone like me interested. Great work!

I am really excited for this project and hope it is opinionated enough and doesn’t go down the rabbit hole of endless customisable options in a Rome.js|json|rc file. I also hope this is as painless as Go and Elm’s default tooling.

Might be a little late for this, but I've added why I created this framework to the readme: I was looking for a Bash testing framework with a familiar API and with coverage reporting. Although there are excellent frameworks like bats-c

Since the tests have to capture the return code and output of the expression, it has to be eval'd in the _test function, and hence the string. It will be interesting to figure out how this can be done though.

Fair points. “Simple” to me means a familiar API, and the fact that I don’t have to install any dependencies. I either add it as a git sub module or just copy the file into my project. > Also, when coming across a project where other sol

I tried introducing Elm at my workplace and failed because: 1. Development of compiler and core libraries strictly BDFL driven (at least used to be) 2. Fixing some important compiler/library bugs takes years 3. No way to host private p

Redux was such a mental overhead for me when I started out with it. The amount of boilerplate code that I had to write for the project I worked on was very frustrating. What helped me truly understand the concept was Elm. These days I ask j
