When I was a student they used to get minimum wage. You can't go lower than that. Absolutely terrible way to make a living. 'Lucky' for us, it's now mostly pre-recorded robocalls.

Probably, but so should teachers, nurses, etc. Can you name one occupation outside politics/lawyers where you think people should be paid less?

I really object to thinking about education as 'value for money' only. That's not to say that education in some countries is outrageously expensive (it is) or that student loans are terrible burden (it is). But the real issue

That is technically not correct. GDPR only covers personal data with several important caveats. So you can't be walking around and claiming that it's all personal data and it all has to be deleted. The law doesn't work this w

I wouldn't say unlimited but 'better' or 'much better' - sure. But why does it make a difference? Men and women are different in many respects, and sex is one of them. For example if you tell a woman that getting on

I wouldn't say it's 'harder', it's 'different' is many respects. It's true that women are way more frequently propositioned for sex than men (talking heterosexual relationships here) and it's bas

I've met my wife on a dating site (mind you, that was 16 years ago). While personal experience does not equal 'data', one of the greatest things about dating apps/sites from the male prospective is actually getting acces

I think Amazon, as any IT giant, is a two-tier or a three-tier company. Meaning different HR principles are applied to 'line workers' compared to mid-management compared to VP level hires.

Yeah, but this is a very US-centric view. China is (arguably) far ahead of US both in EV technology in general and Tesla specifically. It's hard to separate personality cult of Elon Musk from Tesla, but for many outside US, there'

I feel that there's almost 'Protect Tesla at any cost' order, even though there clearly isn't one. I have this heavy feeling that should Tesla crash and burn, this is going to be a major hit not only for Nasdaq or S&

This is what's so strange about US. There are laws with very hefty fines about false advertising, especially when human life and health is involved, this is true for EU and most other locations. Try to remember how much VW paid for the

Thanks for taking time to write this article. I think far too little people remember downturns and don't realize that there are multiple instances when pre-IPO valuations are actually higher than post-IPO. Down rounds aren't uncom

This is only to get worse if more people switch to voice-based interfaces (Alexa, anyone?). The way people search when they type vs the way it's done with voice commands can be quite different.

Did working conditions really got much worse over the past 20 years? Or are people just becoming more entitled? I agree with the premise that workplace wellbeing is a bunch of BS (and just a small part of much large corporate BS universe),
