I have edge installed as a flatpak from flathub-beta and haven't seen any 'ads'. The sandbox capabilities of flatpak also help reduce potential attack surface.

To add context. In Aviation, if they do find a bug in the software running an airplane's engine they do ground planes until they know more about impact and mitigation. Not saying cars should do the same, just that it's not absurd

Have you tried installing zoom as a flatpak from flathub? Using it at Fedora Silverblue 34 (Gnome 40 on Wayland) and screen sharing works (using it often at work).

I am using BTRFS and FDE encryption right now on Fedora Silverblue for a year if not more. And like the post says, I am typing two passwords.

Coming up with potential "tracebacks" is how theoretical physicists make papers and get citations. And then you use them to design a proper experiment that will shed light to other aspects of this anomaly. But for some reason this

Bioengineering can have its own negative externalities, and in practice incentives may misalign in such a way that we solve an immediate problem but also create a new one that will manifest later and hence someone else will have to deal wit

By Noether's theorem as long as you don't have the laws of Physics change over time then energy will be conserved. The problem is that the definition of energy changes when you model a different system or change the way you model
