Also anecdotally I quite like flatpaks as a user. For example having Lutris as a flatpak (it's in flathub beta) is quite nice because it doesn't pollute my system with all those Wine dependencies. Pro Tip: Use Flatseal to manage Flatpak permissions, e.g. give some apps access to specific folders you use that they don't have by default.
