The problem with security keys is that they're expensive and you have to carry them around. TOTP is cheap and much better 2FA than OTP over SMS.

They sell you the hardware and your copy of the operating system when you purchase a phone. What software you run on it should not be Apple's concern.

Yes because theyre distributed through the app store. If you distribute via sideloading - Apple cannot claim that they had to incur the costs of vetting each update, distribution, payment processing, security, server maintenance, etc.

Just tested it. I tried to get it to write a conclusion after giving it my report and while is was correct, it was kind of silly, a far cry from chatgpt. But again, this is the 7B variant and its open source.
