Very sensible. I wish OS X featured a even more "rootless" mode where "root" only gives you sandboxed write access, and read access to files it creates.

It would be nice if all new HTML5 features and APIs release from now on turns on 'Modern Web Security Mode', which fixes CSRF and a bunch of other security issues that are not backwards compatible.

You can disable using precise locations in Google search, and Google will no longer request your location except for when there is a maps card in the result (which makes sense)

I emailed security@apple.com and never received a response. Generally, when I need to get the attention of big tech corporations I talk to a friend who works there. Unfortunately, I don't really know anyone who works at Apple.

I don't see any reason why that would be unenforceable, but resellers are not a party to that contract, and there is no contract if you just buy new cartridges and refill those ones.

It's not just UI but performance as well. For native apps, UI (hover state, clicks, etc) react in 0-1 frames. For Electron apps, these range from 3-10 frames.
