Digg closed before it was defeated really. I can't remember if it was the v3 or v4 that caused the migration but they didn't even try to roll back... or just stick with their new plan. They just gave up it seems.

To be honest if I wrote down aspects of my life it might seem awesome but it depends on how you look at it. Do I have any impact on the world? No. Do I have a large and thriving social circle? No. Do I help or improve the lives of the frien

Just my opinion but I guess: Less American enthusiasm, less money and more of an attitude that it's just a job rather than changing the world edit: and more time off

> Interesting folks Mind posting some examples? I find it recommends lots of useless stuff. I know the rebuttal - it learns what you're interested in - but I can still tell you there are lots of vapid people and videos on it.

I don't disagree that this could be done with HTML but 2 considerations: 1) It did not take 2 years, a huge team and a million dollars because of React. Like I said React is just using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. 2) You're assuming

I feel once you introduce conditional logic, loops and retrieving/processing/storing data you are in a code mindset regardless of how you construct that logic (e.g. through drag and drop icons, pictures or typed words)

Reddit is not exactly a hard to build site. Any experienced React developer could do this in less than 2 weeks. I'm not sure how to draw comparisons between the two.

I go between thoughts like that and extreme worry about losing my skills. One problem is that the work is expected to be done.. even though everyone knows there is no time to do it since we're in meetings all day.

EDIT: I posted this and then realised it doesn't answer your question. To be more in line with what you asked... I am not aware of any companies that have no meetings. I have been looking at job boards recently and have not seen that a

I eat 3 eggs a day - I hadn't heard of that study that more than 2 would kill me! In general I aim for lots of protein, a good bit of fat and less carbs.. with a specific aim to avoid carbs from bread, fries, cakes, chips/crisps

I would agree with smart glasses. So many people wear glasses, lenses or contact lenses which means adoption can happen pretty easily once a good product comes out. Maybe peaked caps (to hold the camera) and glasses combined or something.

I am not too competitive now but I was when I played soccer. I guess the with soccer the rules are set in place and the arena is standard. The aim is clear and you're there for one reason - to win.
