So what is wrong with drawing butterflies with this wing position? Nothing! It's possible and looks good.

Yeah - the author and the responses here seem to want to rewrite facts. I mean.. we've all seen butterflies haven't we? We know they look like the artists depiction of them.

Do you not think the Eastern Tailed blue butterfly looks like the "dead" ones?
4. 454.▲
   by Graffur 5y ago

I don't get it - the Eastern Tailed blue butterfly looks like the "dead" butterfly but it's not dead. This invalidates the authors argument completely.

You could do it as a Firefox extension which then gives the users who answered correctly a green tick or some other indicator.

What jobs should I look for to avoid this stuff?

I have only worked at one big company so I am used to these type of job profiles. I dislike them though. What is it like working at a smaller company? I would love to except I imagine the pay would be worse (in my country - non USA)

I'm an introvert but like being in the office. I don't like the commute though so will try to maximize WFH.

If 10 pushups is 100%, then you won't make 11. If you do 11, that is 100% of the pushups you can do, not 10. I didn't say you can't improve but the way I see it is that 100% is the max you can give. Improving doesn't mak

Off topic question about LINQ.. when should you use it? C# can be written in s few different ways. Some linq type solutions can be elegant but if the next person updating expects classic c# style it probably isn't the best option

What's your thought process here? Is it related to the job role or you think underlings should just be treated differently/worse?

Good luck knowing what to build and being able to coordinate with others if you have nobody to actually do the work. Both sets of people are needed. A lot of people in this thread seem to be promoting the non technical side but the technica

I find that people who go down the politics path eventually stop being technical. Some might stay technical but at a very high level and could be able to write code. This may suit some people but for those who want to be software engineers

And if the product is bad neither do they. At the end of the day it's all a group effort. Good engineers are not easily replaceable in my experience.
