Perhaps, but their policies and support for old hardware far exceeds anything you see in the Android world. But you point out THIS "shitty company" while not throwing your gaze towards all the other "shitty companies" li

Long LOOOONG ago, I had a good relationship with Adobe. For instance, I was one of the beta-testers for Photoshop 3.0 (which was the first to do native CMYK). Would talk with them all the time over the phone. But those guys have long since

Guess I'm dumb, because I've been subscribed to YouTube premium for quite a while now. I watch it on many devices that don't have any way of installing ad-blockers (like streaming devices to TVs). Not to mention, that an &quo

With past experience with law enforcement, if they don't get what they want, they will continue to harass and needle and try to chip away at what they can until they get some semblance of what they wanted.

Yes, exactly. Around 1993-94 I was running through so many different OS's on my Micron Pentium. DOS, then OS/2 Warp, then Linux, then Windows 3.1, then back to OS/2, then to Linux. Drove my wife crazy.

I began tinkering with Linux about 6 months after it's inception. I think....think...it was what became Slackware in what I gathered up the things to make it run on my Micron Pentium. This was in the day I was trying everything on that

I'm an old guy...in my 60s. I grew up with film and love the look of old movies. But this is 2023. Why are we still hanging on to a "look" that peaked in the 50s and 60s? Technology moves on. I mean, I get it. People are stub
