Youtube costs two million dollars a day to run. If you are planning on hosting music, better sites like www.grooveshark.com already exist. Furthermore, everyone is fine with uploading their audio files to Youtube. All the lectures I listen

I fail to see the problem here. All three of these companies produce excellent products. If this weren't the case, you wouldn't be so passionate in your arguments. I mean, your criticisms practically describe their business model.

Why are you apologizing for them feeling that way? It seems to me like everyone is reacting in the same way. Perhaps you should apologize for your own behavior. I don't think the delay is near as bad as the way you guys are handling it. I'm

My takeaway was this: "The third lesson I learnt was that you don't need great code to make a great product." I really believe this to be true. Coders are far too analytical for their own good. If a product works great, then the poor code c

I find it interesting that Starbucks would want to throw away their branding and open up coffee shops under a generic name. That said, this is a negative and contentless rant. Blue jeans are very practical in all seasons. It's not fair to c

Honest people do not write software to defraud investors. Despite the story, they had no stroke of conscience convincing them to leave. You would never tell a criminal organization that you're going to expose them unless you're blackmaili

Two coins flipped at equal velocity and trajectory in vacuum will flip an equal number of times. Thus, the process of a coin flip is completely deterministic since it depends on newtonian physics. So, the probability is defined by the rando

"Clearly advertising to smart people is in demand." I think the point is that advertising to smart people is not effective; they will research and find the best product regardless of advertising.

To make manned space flight seem so undesirable is disingenuous to the breathtaking reality of the first manned moon landing. It disheartens me to see that the accomplishment that once inspired a nation is widely and apathetically looked up

The first Wikipedia page is about fringe organisms which live in hot water and die in cold water. Arsenic is in all unfiltered water. You'd have to dig a well to get a high enough level of arsenic to poison yourself. It is extremely unlik

The animation is stupid. You are listening to an audio clip of Bach being played forward and backwards simultaneously. You could do this with any song played in key. A mobius strip has one side so it would be read like on paper. The twist i

I am the same way. I'm far more productive when I draw/write any design/development abstract on paper. Once you have a finished blueprint it is far easier to stay focused on executing your plan.

The Sun, Earth and Moon do not need to be in perfect alignment for a solar eclipse. You only have to be in the location of the Moon's umbra as it passes over the Earth. The Moon's shadow lengthens as it reaches the edge of the Earth. I'm no

The passage of time could be compared relative to your current lifespan, as you said. I don't see how the theory of relativity applies here. Also, if tasks take longer to accomplish wouldn't time appear to pass faster, not slower?
