Maybe I’m confused, but aren’t these two different things? As the OP stated, any streaming provider can have an app on Apple TV (ESPN, Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Amazon, Peacock, etc…) while some providers may also negotiate deals to be more promi

This seems crazy... I worked at Dairy Queen for 4 (5?) years through high school and beyond, often 6 days a week, and our soft-serve machine never once broke. This was between 97 - 2001+, so 20 years ago soft-serve machines were a solved pr

I have made comments (or at least one comment) before regarding Silverton, OR that does something similar - they clean and zap all their sewage with UV light and then send it a few miles up the hill to a botanical garden to filter through a

I’ll add another ‘absolutely!’. The anecdote I love telling that is somewhat related: my grandfather started medical school at 38 in 1959 (and with 5 kids to boot). He went on to be chief resident at UW and a stellar Cardiothoracic surgeon.

I most certainly do! I was referring to this specific annotated version, which also indicates that it was edited... having read the book I just don’t see how annotations would change anything about how racist and anti-Semitic the book is. E

Interesting! I have only ever read the original - does the annotated edition actually remove all the rampant racism and anti-semitism? Both are rather prevalent topics in the book...

You can get a 55” TCL QLED 4K TV for around $500 - Amazon currently has them for $534, I paid $460 a few months back. All the specs are amazing, as is the software - minimal, intuitive, and effective. And the sound is actually rather impres

I am very aware of what idiots will pay for brand names, but that has nothing to do with any sort of inherent or quantifiable value a product has. I think we, as a society, need to get better at calling people out for being beyond irrespons

As hinted in the OP, people buy Supreme products because they (the buyer) view the product as being ‘street’ (not Big Corp) and, therefore, ‘cool’. When, in fact, the opposite is true - Supreme is the epitome of Big Corps bilking kiddies an

I imagine OP is talking about how we get to select our partners, not eugenics. And how, generally speaking, the wealthier and better looking a person is the wealthier and better looking their partner and then children will be. Edit, to add:
