What would the blockchain offer that you can't do actually ? AFAIK, you can buy bonds, buy a Tesla reservation, and sell this reservation without the blockchain.

I'm curious as to why you would be reluctant to buy a car assembled "in the open" ? Would you be afraid to drive it outside too ?

The velocity factor is around 2/3 in optical fiber. That's slow to HFT firms. For example, the delay compared to vacuum/c would be of of 2ms for a 1000km link. And that does not take into account fiber repeaters or microwave

Wouldn't light-speed internet be useful ? I would think that HFT firms would be interested in them

Do you even know what USB IDs are ? You can not identify an USB device without them.

Units is a wonderful program; don't be afraid to use their definitions (/usr/share/units/definitions.units): $ units -t '24816400 GWh / (1347000000 km^3) / waterdensity / water_specificheat&#

Excatly. I know one which only does free-cooling (they only have big fans; that's it). Failure rate is a bit higher, but they are confident that their architecture is HA/redundant and of what they told me, it's cheaper to rep

Same old, same old. You care because you may need various IPs when doing complex applications; which you can't have right now because of IPv4 exhaustion

How did you do this site ? Did you download a big torrent of ebooks and extracted the first chapter/words of them ? Interesting though ;-)

As a parent commenter said, you could also put a diode for your circuitry. You would then have a single 3.7V supply.

A Schottky will drop .3V; That's within the range (±10%) specified in the specs
680.
▲

Then the supply before the diode supplies 3.3V + the voltage drop; for example 3.6V.

I like the european ancillary services model. In Switzerland for example (It's the one I know quite well), it's the TSO role to keep the grid stable; in this case Swissgrid. Swissgrid then passes on the costs of this stabilization

Exactly. Even the `ip` name is misleading as the command does much more than only ip-related things (link layer, network namespaces, tcp, …).

I'm seeding a small Tb too. Sadly I just took some random torrents in order to "randomize" the lot. It's a shame though that the publications are in zipped files… Don't forget to download the metadata too !
