I'd expect a "deep research" product to do this for me.

This looks interesting. I wonder what the financial/business relationship is like between Mullvad and Obscura.

I tend to get impatient at less than 10tok/s: If the answer is 600tok (normal for me) that's a minute.

You can deal with this through various sampling methods, but it doesn't actually fix the fried model.

I bought a wireless dongle for Android Auto, which was convenient for a while, but I also stopped using it in favor of plugging it in, since it drained the battery.

I had a similar experience years ago when I read about the same thing in an Airbnb less than a kilometer from the library.

This looks like it could improve the LLM web search tools in my gptme agent (Google and DDG). I wonder how it would compare to using Perplexity. Shame about the JS-less Google results situation mentioned at the top of the README.

You can provide them a significant amount of guidance through prompting. The model itself won't "learn", but if given lessons in the prompt, which you can accumulate from mistakes, it can follow them. You will always hit a wa

I liked the copying of untracked files, bumped into it a few days ago when giving worktrees a shot, and I was pretty disappointed. Will try the helper.

I really thought this would mention uv script deps (standardized by some PEP) together with a `#!/usr/bin/env -S uv run` shebang line which automatically install the deps on execution. Has been super useful to write single-fi

I don't think that was clear. If they really meant that, which I honestly doubt because it would be so obviously false, then I agree with you.

LLMs are really good at 20 questions, so if you give it a chance to ask some follow-up (which they will do if given such a prompt) it will probably figure it out pretty quick.

I don't think you can fix this with a little bit of prompting with current models, since they seem clearly heavily biased towards react-router (a particular version even, iirc from a year ago). It might help if you included API referen

I figured most package managers (brew, pip, nix, npm, etc.) are not actually one of the few Linux distro package managers. You listed them almost exhaustively after all (excepting pacman).

This is why I was asking. My own gptme is also just slightly different from Aider and has been around roughly as long.

The same is true of my own gptme, which has been pretty much at parity with Aider along the way. Paul (Aider author) is a lot better at writing useful stuff than me though! (like the amazing blog posts)

For what it's worth, gptme will refuse non-unique matches (and ask the LLM to try again). I thought Aider did too (easy win after all), but apparently not.

I wonder if copyright holders would be okay if Meta had a legitimately acquired a copy of each copyrighted work they trained on. (not saying the issue ends there)

It had a death loop which got triggered by market pressure on a stablecoin leading to a run on the native token which actually made it converge to zero: can't get much more unsuccessful than that.

I recently discovered my motherboard has a quirky Bluetooth chip which sometimes deadlocks and a simple power cycle was not enough to restore. The machine actually had be power cycled for more than a minute (!). I was stumped until I found
