I recently discovered my motherboard has a quirky Bluetooth chip which sometimes deadlocks and a simple power cycle was not enough to restore. The machine actually had be power cycled for more than a minute (!). I was stumped until I found the one reddit comment suggesting I try it... and sure enough.
